I have a bag of pre-mixed motar will this be ok to use. I pressume this is a mix at 4:1 will this be ok or too strong?

This is on wood board and the tile cement really stuck it solid, I mean glued like a tile, the tray had a flat textured underside. Sand and cement relies more on gravity and is more to support and level. The manufacturers always spec sand/cement.

I believe a lot of people use some kind of mastic although it will void the warranty. I've been told to use a weak sand/cement mix 5:1 and its to be semi dry.

I bought this for mixing concrete on so the mess does not get everywhere . It does the job very well. Ok it's made of plastic so best not slam a heavy spade down on it hard. Place it on a flat area so it supported and use a bit of sense with your spade work and it's a great item.
